DXS Series compressor is an semi-hermetic oil–injection twin rotary screw compressor.
YORK DXS compressor is an industrial screw compressor designed for refrigeration and air conditioning with refrigerant R22 or R407C. Its cooling capacity varies with rotor diameter.
DXS compressor adopts the patented new rotor profile that ensures high performance in all working conditions. Accessible hermetic motor is directly mounted on the male rotor shaft. This is a compact reliable structure.
DXS compressor uses continuous capacity control. Compressor starts at the minimum position; Continuous function, microprocessor controlled, 3-way proportional Capacity Control Valve provides regulated output pressure independent of valve input pressure for a stable, smooth, and precise match of compressor capacity to cooling load to 20% of chiller capacity. When the unit stops, the capacity control spring will reset to the minimum load position, ensuring that the compressor motor starts with the minimum load.
